Medicense is a self-serve organizational and tracking tool. We are not a law firm, a medical board, or a government agency, and nothing on this site is legal advice or a guarantee of licensure.

What we do — and what we don't

Medicense provides organizational tools — per-state checklists, secure document storage, deadline and status tracking, and general informational content — to help you manage your own license applications. Medicense does not prepare, submit, or file applications, and does not contact state boards, schools, FCVS, or the IMLC on your behalf. You complete and submit your own applications directly to each board or verifier. The decision to grant, deny, restrict, or revoke a license rests solely with each state medical board.

No guarantee of outcome

We cannot and do not guarantee that any application will be approved, or approved within any particular timeframe. Timelines, fees, and requirements are set by state boards and third parties, change frequently, and are outside our control. All figures shown on this site are planning estimates.

Not legal or medical advice

Information provided by Medicense is general and for convenience only. It is not legal advice and does not create an attorney-client relationship. For legal questions about your specific situation, consult a licensed attorney.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide. Providing false or misleading information to a licensing board can carry serious consequences, and you remain responsible for the representations made in your applications.

This document is a plain-language template provided for the Medicense product build and is not legal advice. Before launch, all legal documents must be reviewed and finalized by qualified counsel licensed in the relevant jurisdictions.
