Terms of service

Medicense is a self-serve organizational and tracking tool. We provide checklists, secure document storage, and deadline and status tracking to help you manage your own medical license applications and renewals. We are not a law firm or licensing authority, and we cannot guarantee any licensing outcome.

Medicense does not prepare, submit, or file applications on your behalf. You are solely responsible for completing and submitting your own applications to state boards, FCVS, and the IMLC, and for the accuracy and completeness of everything you submit. Medicense does not contact boards, schools, or verifiers on your behalf. Any checklists, drafts, or informational content we provide are aids you review and rely on at your own discretion.

We do not guarantee that any application will be approved, or approved within any particular timeframe, and no outcome is tied to your use of the service. Timelines, fees, and requirements are set by state boards and third parties, change frequently, and are outside our control.

You agree to provide accurate, complete information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for the accuracy of the representations made in your applications and for activity under your account.

Fees for access to the Medicense tools are shown transparently before you are charged. State board fees and third-party fees are paid by you directly to those parties and follow their own rules; Medicense does not collect or remit them on your behalf.

You agree to indemnify and hold Medicense harmless from any claims, losses, or liabilities arising out of the applications, materials, or representations you prepare or submit, your use of the service, or your violation of these terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Medicense is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for delays, denials, or actions of state boards and third parties. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Any dispute arising out of these terms or your use of Medicense will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, and you and Medicense each waive any right to participate in a class or representative action. This clause is a draft pending review by counsel and may change before launch.
